We are over the moon and once again celebrating success with yet more awards for our sour dough breads.
The Tiptree World Bread Awards celebrate the art and skill of bread making and our latest wins shown once again, just how passionate we are about our loaves. Made at our bakery on the edge of the Goodwood Estate near Chichester our handmade loaves triumphed in four categories with individual loaves being awarded Gold, Silver and Bronze accolades.
Awarded gold was our ciabatta, a classic Italian favourite with a superb open texture while our Pain D’Alsace, baked as huge 2kg loaves was awarded a silver. This is the second award for this product that also achieved a Gold Star at the 2012 Great Taste Awards!
Awards also went to the popular “5 Seed Sour Dough”, a firm favourite with visitors to our Petworth food shop along with “Sprouted Wheat and Date”, a relatively new bread to our ever expanding range.
Our range of breads can be purchased 7 days a week from our shop in Middle Street, Petworth while we also attend the farmers market in Horsham every Saturday. Regular appearances are also made at monthly markets in Haslemere, Worthing and Milford as well at events at The Weald & Downland Museum and West Dean Gardens. Selected products in the range are also stocked at Waitrose stores across the southeast as part of their local suppliers range.
