Enjoy our May Recipe of The Month; Grilled lettuce and 9 star perennial salad, goats cheese, hazelnuts, and orange.
Servings: 2-3 people

Cooking time: 25 mins
Ingredients:
11 x Mereworth lettuce, quartered
4 florets x Mereworth 9 star perennial, halved
1 bunch x Mereworth rainbow chard
5 x Mereworth radishes
1/2 bunch x Mereworth oregano
50g Ticklemore goats cheese
1/2 x red onion
2 x oranges
50g roasted hazelnuts
Hungry Guest chilli oil
Hungry Guest lemon vinaigrette
1 tsp Sumac
Salt
Directions:
For the salad
1.On a hot griddle pan roast the lettuce and 9 star perennial until well charred. Finish with salt and the Hungry Guest chilli oil. Allow to cool.
2.Cut the stems of the rainbow chard into batons, and roughly cut the leaves. Roast the stems and leaves in the griddle pan until tender.
3.Thinly slice the red onion and radishes.
4.Roughly chop the roasted hazelnuts and oregano.
5.Peel and segment the oranges.
6.Crumble the goats cheese.
To Assemble
1.Combine the lettuce, 9 star, orange segments, and radishes.
2.Add the hazelnuts, oregano, and red onion. Mix well, dress with lemon vinaigrette, and season with salt.
3.Finish with the goats cheese, and sprinkle with sumac.
