Try out this February Recipe of The Month 2022! Delicious and easy Smoked Mackerel and Celeriac Remoulade Crostini.
Serves: 12 people
Ingredients:
200g Smoked mackerel
200g Celeriac
Juice from half a lemon
2 tbsp Mayonnaise
1 tbsp Dijon mustard
1 tbsp Crème fraiche
1 tbsp Parsley, finely chopped
Sea salt & pepper
Bag of Hungry Guest Crostini
Directions:
Cut the celeriac into matchstick size pieces & toss with the lemon juice immediately, to avoid an discolouration
Mix together the mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, crème fraiche, parsley & season.
Fold in the celeriac & put in the fridge to chill
To serve, peel the skin off the mackerel & break into 1 inch size pieces.
Top the crostini with the celeriac remoulade & a piece of the smoked mackerel
TIP: Chorizo or cured meat can be used instead of mackerel
